Like other allied health professionals, such as psychologists, Accredited Mental Health Social Workers use a range of interventions in helping people with mental health issues, including the following focussed psychological strategies:
Anyone with a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP can access My Mind Matters for free in Griffith or Leeton. Six to ten sessions can be then bulk billed via Medicare as accessed via the Griffith Neighbourhood House Community Centre Inc on Benerembah St or Leeton Library on Chelmsford Place. Service from Griffith and Leeton is always by appointment only.
With a strong focus on practical, evidence-based strategies, care and commitment is taken to assist you in the best way possible.
My Mind Matters in conjunction with Griffith Neighbourhood House Community Centre, is pleased to announce their partnership with the State Debt Recovery Office to offer the Work and Development Order Program so eligible people who come for mental health treatment at My Mind Matters can have their fines reduced.
